WADESBORO — The Anson County Sheriff deputies arrested suspect days following a breaking and entering report on Feb. 5. The suspect, 20, was arrested on Feb. 11.

Deputies responded to the house off of Hanna Road, after the alarm system went off. Upon arrival, the back door was left wide open and in the back bedroom, a window was smashed in with a rock.

The suspect stole a SKS semi-automatic weapon. He was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny of a fire arm, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is on a $40,000 secured bond and his trial date is set for Feb. 22.

Feb. 8

WADESBORO — At 11:04 a.m., deputies responded to Morning Drive following a report of a suspect allegedly transferring money into her bank account. The suspect transferred $500 in her account. She is the girlfriend of a friend of the victim.

LILESVILLE — At 1:41 p.m., deputies responded to Blue Water Road following a forcible breaking and entering report.

ANSONVILLE — At 3:15 p.m., deputies responded to Baseball Street following a non-forced breaking and entering report.

Feb. 9

POLKTON — At 9:25 a.m., deputies responded to White Store Road following a reports of an assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. The incident involves a 14-year-old who allegedly pulled a knife on his family. The juvenile and his family got in a disagreement which led to him pulling out the knife.

LILESVILLE — At 6:10 p.m., deputies responded Stanback Ferry Road following a forcible breaking and entering report. Someone was driving by a house of a deceased man and noticed the house was broken into. There is nothing reported being stolen and there are no suspects at this time.

LILESVILLE — At 9:15 p.m., deputies responded to Stanback Ferry Road following reports of larceny and breaking and entering. There was an Xbox reported stolen, but no arrests have been made.

Feb. 10

WADESBORO — At 9:46 a.m., deputies responded to Teal Hall Road following a report that a horse was shot. There are no suspects.

WADESBORO — At 10:40 a.m., deputies responded to N.C. 109 following a report of stolen property.

WADESBORO — At 8:29 p.m., deputies responded to Ansonville Polkton Road following a forcible breaking and entering report.

Feb. 11

WADESBORO — At 8:36 a.m., deputies responded to Old U.S. 52 following a damage to real property report.

MORVEN — At 11:23 a.m., deputies responded to Gatewood Station Road following reports of simple assault and communicating threats. The suspect, 18, went to the victim’s house. The two started arguing when the suspect pulled out pepper spray and sprayed the victim. The suspect was arrested.

WADESBORO — At 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to Cherrywood Place following a forcible breaking and entering report.

Feb. 12

LILESVILLE — At 1:08 a.m., deputies responded to Stanback Ferry Road following a report of damage to personal property.

Feb. 13

WADESBORO — At 10:11 a.m., deputies responded to Hildreth Mobile Home Park following a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim said she parked her car at her house. The next morning when she woke up, it was gone. The missing vehicle is a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant.

Feb. 14

MORVEN — At 12:19 a.m., deputies issued a warrant service for a simple assault.

LILESVILLE — At 6:50 p.m., deputies responded to Blue Water Road following reports of forcible breaking and entering and damage to personal property. A member of the club noticed a camper was “messed with.” Someone tried to break in, but nothing was reported stolen. A hunting camera was damaged.
