WADESBORO — Join the Anson County Health Department for free Taste of Nutrition classes during June and July at the Lockhart-Taylor Center in Wadesboro.
Every Wednesday from June 2 and July 28 the health department will offer nutrition classes to help you implement healthy eating habits with nutritious meals. Classes run from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Each class includes an educational session as well as a recipe for the week. Food and appliances are provided to accomplish your weekly meal.
To keep students and staff safe, COVID-19 protocols will still be in place. Guests need to wear a mask and temperatures will be taken at the door. If anyone is showing symptoms, he or she will not be admitted to the class. Social distancing will be enforced. Students need to follow a strict sanitizing regime for all tables, chairs, utensils and surfaces that you may come into contact with. There will also be no sharing of utensils during the class.
