WADESBORO — Anson High School student Katie Horne was named the North Carolina Outdoor Track and Field 2A State Champion in Girls’ Shot Put on Oct. 7.
Athletic Net reports her season’s best shot put distance and personal best at 40’ 10 against West Stanly.
