Students were named to the Pfeiffer Invitational Honor Band.
Students at Anson High School and Anson County Early College were named to the Pfeiffer Invitational Honor Band, under the work of composer Robert W. Smith.
According to his website, Smith has composed over 600 written works including those with Warner Brothers Publications, the United States Air Force Band, the United States Navy Band, the Boston Pops, and the Atlanta Symphony. He will teach students from across the state in a 2-day clinic with a culminating formal concert for friends and family, according to the Anson Bearcat Band Facebook.
Congratulations to the following band students: A’Mya, Anna, Caden, Caleb, Kirra, Nevaeh S., Sheneeka, and Summer. Go Bearcats!
