Anson All-Stars Coach Pitch heads to the state tournament in Dunn, N.C. on July 9 through July 13.
WADESBORO — The Anson All-Stars Coach Pitch team finished in 2nd at the District 1 All-Star Tournament, earning their first run at the Little League State Title.
The team will now travel Dunn, N.C. to play in the D2 State Tournament on July 9 through July 13.
A “Bats & Begonias” fundraiser is taking place to help cover the expenses to the state tournament.
There are pots of locally grown flowers available for purchase from Waddell Farms in Wadesboro. The plants will be delivered to your school weekly, or you can set up an alternate pickup time and place.
